Ingredients and dose

  • Semolina (rawa/suji), 1 cup
  • Butter, 1/2 cup
  • Water, 2 cup
  • Green cardamom powder, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar, 1/2 teaspoon
  • Nuts chopped, 2 tablespoon (to garnish)

How to make halwa

Step 1
Heat butter in a pan. Add semolina and roast on low heat till fragrant.

Step 2
Heat water in another pan and mix sugar and cardomon in it. Boil it 5 minute so you have a sort of syrup.

Step 3
Mix roasted semollina in the syrup, cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes and at the last add nuts. And your sujee (semolina) halwa is ready.
