Today some IWCM members have visited the Social Service Day Care Center for Children at Risk in Leova to distribuite the prepared gifts to 30 children from the center.
This day is the final event of the Angel Tree Project, organized by the IWCM. Several IWCM members “adopted” one of the children at the center and donated toys and other things specific to the needs and interests of those children.
The Social Service Day Care Center for Children at Risk in Leova is a support and help for underprivileged / risk families, prevent child abandonment and institutionalization, provides social support, counseling and education for children.
The IWCM ladies together the children and the people of the center spent with them a real winter story: with Santa Claus, songs, dancing and many beautiful surprises.
A big thank to Irina Rusanovschi for coordinating the project, to co-president Maria Marinutsa, Natalia Stelea, Ursula Kuchta, Valentina Pogreban, Victoria Barbulat and to all ladies who have been involved in this project and who have generously donated nice gifts. A special thank to Beatriz Torets Ruiz and her friends for the generosity of preparing a lot of nice gifts. Thank you, “Casa Curata”, for detergents and hygiene products for the center. Thank you, Mrs. Vasnetova, for candy gifts. Thank you, Ray West and MWCF. Thank you, Mrs. Elena Şendrea from BP Hajdeu Library , who offered her office to collect the gifts…
