This year IWCM managed to raise about 513 000 MDL in its annual fundraising event, the International Charity Bazaar at its 22nd edition.
Here is the list of 2018/2019 beneficiaries:
1. World in Love
This NGO offers the opportunity for marginalized people, mainly young adults and children with Down syndrome, autism and disability, to develop skills and become active members of society, at the same time obtaining a potential profession that will allow they develop independence and generate income.
Support for: training of at least ten young adults with disabilities through a one-year program that will develop the skills necessary to become dog walkers and dog careivers. In addition, young adults will benefit from the daily management of dogs through pet therapy.
2. The Mother and Child Institute – IMC
It is a leading institution of the Republic of Moldova in obstetric, gynecology, neonatology and pediatrics (somatic and surgical) domains
Support for: funding cardio pediatric defibrillator for children aged 0 to 18 who are patients of the Department of Cardiology.
3. Sporter
This NGO organizes sports events in Moldova.
Support for: funding permanent and transportable toilets for people with disabilities to facilitate inclusive sports so that children and young people with disabilities can participate in sporting and outdoor events. The toilets will be used as inclusive people, of all ages, all women, men and children, in 10 sporting events in 2019 and for the next few years.
4. Asociatia de Bastinasi Razesii, from Cotiujenii Mari village, Soldanesti
Support for: restoring and repairing the music school health block for the benefit of 185 children.
